Abstract

TOLERÂNCIA AO ESTRESSE DE PLANTA DE FATORES DE TRANSCRIÇçO AP2 MODIFICADOS. A invenção se refere a polipeptídeos de fator de transcrição planta modificados, polinucleotídeos que os codifica, homólogos de uma variedade de espécies de planta, e métodos para usar os polinucleotídeos e polipeptídeos para produzir plantas transgênicas que têm propriedades vantajosas, incluindo tolerância aumentada ao estresse abiótico ou biótico, quando as plantas são comparadas a plantas de tipo selvagem ou de controle. As modificações para as seqúências de fator de transcrição de planta são responsáveis por produzir poucas e menos severas características morfológicas e de desenvolvimento adversas em plantas superexpressando estas seqúências que seriam causadas através de superexpressão das seqúências sem as modificações.
