Abstract
COMBINADOR DE RAZçO MAXIMAL EFICIENTE PARA SISTEMAS CDMA. Um receptor compreende um número de extensões, cada extensão provendo simbolos associados a um percurso de um sinal de múltiplos percursos recebido, e um combinador de razão maximal (MRC) que é ativado de modo a combinar os simbolos quando os simbolos se encontram disponíveis. Em uma modalidade ilustrativa um receptor é um receptor de acesso CDMA e compreende um número de extensões, uma interface, e um combinador MRC. Cada extensão provê simbolos associados a um percurso de um sinal de múltiplos percursos recebido para os vários canais transportados no mesmo, a interface provê uma indicação se os simbolos das extensões estão prontos para processamento no combinador MRC, o qual em seguida é ativado de modo a combinar os simbolos das extensões associados ao mesmo canal. De maneira ilustrativa, a interface inclui um codificador de prioridade de modo a selecionar diferentes canais para processamento pelo combinador MRC. Além disso, o combinador MRC pode ser configurado de modo a operar com uma taxa de relógio maior que uma taxa de chip. Por meio da ativação seletiva do combinador MRC, ou de pelo menos uma porção do mesmo, uma redução no número de circuitos combinados pode ser obtida dentro do combinador MRC.
