Abstract

DISPOSITIVO DE COMUNICAÇçO SEM FIOS, E, MÉTODO PARA FAZER UMA CHAMADA DE PARTIDA DE UM DISPOSITIVO DE COMUNICAÇçO SEM FIOS. Um dispositivo de comunicação sem fios (10) inclui um transceptor (32), memória (26) e controlador (28). O transceptor (32) permite a um usuário se comunicar com uma parte remota por uma rede de comunicação sem fios (40). Sempre que o usuário faz uma chamada de partida, o controlador (28) armazena caracteristicas da chamada de partida em memória (26). Estas incluem o número de telefone da parte remota, a hora do dia e/ou dia da semana que a chamada de partida foi feita, o local do dispositivo de comunicação sem fios (10) ao fazer a chamada de partida, e a identidade de um transceptor de curto alcance com o qual o dispositivo de comunicação sem fios (10) estabeleceu uma ligação de comunicação ao fazer a chamada de partida. Periodicamente, o controlador (28) analisa as características armazenadas, e determina um padrão de chamada para a parte remota baseado na história de chamada de usuários. Baseado no padrão de chamada determinado, o controlador (28) é capaz de predizer quando o usuário provavelmente fará uma chamada de partida subseqúente à parte remota.
