Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA MUDAR UM PERFIL DE CARACTERìSTICAS DE ASSINANTE MóVEL NUMA REDE DE TELECOMUNICAçõES". Um aparelho para mudar um perfil de características de assinante móvel numa rede de telecomunicações compreende um Registro de Localização de Domicílio (80) que possui um dispositivo para mudar o perfil (64), e uma memória (85) para armazenar o perfil, em comunicação eletrónica com um nó (65, 75). O nó (65, 75) inclui um dispositivo para reconhecer a solicitação de mudança, efetuada pelo assinante, (63), um dispositivo para validar a solicitação (63); um dispositivo para determinar se o assinante está usando no momento um telefone móvel ao qual o perfil está atribuído (63), e um dispositivo para impedir mudanças do perfil (63), com exceção da característica de serviço se o assinante não estiver naquele momento usando o telefone ao qual o perfil está atribuído. A invenção é realizada também num método para mudar um perfil de características de assinante móvel, que compreende as etapas de enviar uma solicitação, efetuada por assinante móvel, a um nó, para mudar uma característica selecionada, validar a solicitação, determinar se o assinante móvel solicitante está usando no momento um telefone móvel ao qual o perfil está atribuído, e impedir mudanças do perfil, com exceção da característica de serviço selecionada (se o assinante não estiver naquele momento usando o telefone móvel ao qual o perfil está atribuído).
