Abstract
MOLDE DE ARTIGOS DE VIDRO COM DISPOSIçãO DE RESFRIAMENTO E MéTODO DE RESFRIAR O MOLDE DE ARTIGOS DE VIDRO. A presente invenção refere-se a um molde para uma máquina de formação de artigos de vidro que inclui um par de segmentos de molde (14), cada um tendo uma parte central e partes de borda lateralmente espaçadas (54) adaptadas para ser colocadas juntas nas partes de borda para formar uma cavidade de molde (16). Um invólucro refrigerante (68) é montado externamente sobre a parte central de cada segmento de molde para formar uma cavidade de resfriamento (58) entre o invólucro refrigerante e a parte central do segmento de molde, e os invólucros refrigerantes não se estendem dentro da parte de borda dos segmentos de molde. As passagens de refrigerante (60) separadas das cavidades de resfriamento se estendem axialmente através das partes de borda dos segmentos de molde para facilitar o resfriamento das partes de borda em uso.
