Abstract
VCO MULTIBANDA COM INDUTOR ACOPLADO Um VCO de multibanda emprega um ressonador com base em indutor acoplado possuindo portas. Cada porta possui um indutor e pelo menos um capacitor. Os N indutores para as N portas são acoplados magneticamente. Os indutores/portas podem ser habilitados e desabilitados seletivamente para permitir que o VCO opere em diferentes bandas de freqüência. O(s) capacitor(es) para cada porta pode(m) incluir um ou mais capacitores fixos, um ou mais capacitores variáveis (varactors), um ou mais capacitores comutáveis, ou qualquer combinação de capacitores fixos, variáveis e comutáveis. Os capacitores comutáveis (se algum) nas portas habilitadas podem ser habilitados e desabilitados seletivamente para variar a freqüência de oscilação VCO. Os varactors (se algum) nas portas habilitadas podem variar a freqüência de oscilação para travar o VCO em uma freqüência desejada. O VCO multibanda pode ser implementado com várias topologias de oscilador e pode substituir vários VCOs de banda única.
