Abstract

COMPARTILHAMENTO DE INFORMAçõES DE LOCALIZAçãO GEOGRáFICA ENTRE DISPOSITIVOS SEM FIO Sistema e método para compartilhar informação de localização geográfica entre um conjunto de dispositivos de telecomunicação sem fio, tal como telefones móveis. Um primeiro dispositivo de telecomunicação sem fio gera informação de localização geográfica daquele dispositivo de telecomunicação sem fio, seja através de um dispositivo residente tal como um dispositivo GPS, ou tem um outro dispositivo de computador na rede proporcionando a informação de localização geográfica e então compartilha a informação de localização geográfica através do envio da informação de localização para um ou mais servidores para retransmissão para um conjunto alvo pré-designado de dispositivos de telecomunicação sem fio. O servidor armazena a identidade dos dispositivos membros do conjunto alvo e controla a comunicação entre o primeiro dispositivo de telecomunicação sem fio e os dispositivos membros do conjunto alvo. Um segundo servidor pode ser usado para modificar a informação geográfica, tal como proporcionar um mapa mostrando a localização do primeiro dispositivo de telecomunicação sem fio e de outros dispositivos membros do conjunto alvo.
