Abstract

Péletes e bilhas de aglomerado de minério de ferro em camadas onde uma bilha de minério de ferro em camadas tem uma porção de núcleo e uma porção de tipo concha cobrindo a porção de núcleo. A porção de núcleo contém um primeiro concentrado de óxido de ferro e é livre de aditivo combustível interno; a porção de tipo concha contém um segundo concentrado de óxido de ferro e ao menos um aditivo combustível interno adicionado ao segundo concentrado de óxido de ferro. As bilhas de minério de ferro em camadas reduzem os custos da energia de endurecimento e aumentam a produtividade de endurecimento enquanto obtendo-se boa qualidade de péletes passados pelo fogo; tais péletes são usados para redução no processo de fabricação de ferro.
