Um mecanismo de alavanca (22) para um freio de veículo (10) que compreende: um eixo de acionamento (50) que compreende uma abertura de alavanca (62); uma alavanca (52) que engata na referida abertura da alavanca e um pino de retenção (64) que é inserido no mecanismo para reter a alavanca na abertura da alavanca.
