Abstract

"MéTODO E MEIO PARA LEITURA POR COMPUTADOR PARA CARREGAR O CONTEúDO DE UM ARQUIVO DE DADOS". São providos um método e um meio para leitura por computador para carregar o conteúdo de um arquivo eletrónico de dados. De acordo com o método, porções corrompidas de um arquivo de dados são identificadas e é feita uma tentativa de reparar tais porções. Caso as porções corrompidas não possam ser reparadas, o carregamento de tais porções é pulado. As porções não corrompidas e reparadas do arquivo de dados são a seguir carregadas para a memória. Caso porções do arquivo de dados não possam ser reparadas ou puladas, é efetuada uma tentativa de carregar apenas os dados de usuário contidos no arquivo de dados. Dessa forma, os dados de usuário contidos no arquivo de dados podem ser carregados mesmo em casos de corrupção severa.
