Abstract

SEPARADOR MAGNéTICO, E, MéTODO PARA OPERAR O MESMO. Um separador magnético convencionalmente inclui uma correia transportadora (1) que forma um circuito fechado em tomo de um rolo magnético (2) e um rolo louco (3) para transferir uma mistura de materiais (4), o aspecto inédito sendo que a correia (1) não é acionada apelo rolo (2), mas pelo rolo louco (3) que é motorizado, e em que a correia (1) não é enrolada diretamente no rolo (2), mas em um tubo louco (3) de material não magnético dentro do qual o rolo (2) fica arranjado com uma mínima folga. Portanto, é possível obter duas superfícies com um deslizamento relativo e, portanto, duas velocidades diferentes, por meio do que o material atraído, durante o trajeto definido pelo 180<198> da tangência com a área magnética, por causa do apoio ou avanço das polaridades magnéticas, tende girar para trás e para frente em relação à direção de deslocamento da correia. Isto resulta em substancialmente todo o material inerte ser liberado e caiar por gravidade em uma primeira área de queda (5) localizada abaixo da tangente vertical com a correia (1), e também em uma liberação progressiva de materiais com permeabilidade crescente, com uma desanexação tipo ventilador que leva-os a cair em áreas de queda distintas (6, 7, 8).
