Abstract
DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA LIMPAR UM MOTOR DE TURBINA A GàS é descrito um dispositivo para limpar um motor de turbina a gás (2) e, em particular, um motor do tipo turbo-ventoinha. A presente invenção diz respeito adicionalmente a um método para limpar um motor como esse. O dispositivo compreende uma pluralidade de bicos (31, 33, 35) arranjados para atomizar o líquido de limpeza na corrente de ar em uma entrada de ar (20) do motor (2) a montante de uma ventoinha (25) do motor (2). De acordo com a invenção, um primeiro bico (31) fica arranjado em uma posição de maneira tal que o líquido que emana do primeiro bico (31) colida nas superfícies das pás (40) substancialmente no lado de pressão (53); um segundo bico (35) é arranjado em uma posição de maneira tal que o líquido de limpeza que emana do segundo bico (35) colida nas superfícies das pás (40) substancialmente no lado de sucção (54); e um terceiro bico (33) fica arranjado em uma posição de maneira tal que o líquido de limpeza que emana do terceiro bico (33) passe substancialmente entre as pás (40) e entre na entrada (233) do motor de núcleo (203). Assim, diferentes tipos de incrustação encontrados na ventoinha e no compressor do motor de motor de núcleo de turbo-ventoinha podem ser removidas de uma maneira eficiente (figura 3).
