Abstract

"MéTODO PARA PROCESSAR PELO MENOS UMA IMAGEM DE DOCUMENTO CODIFICADO DE RECONHECIMENTO DE CARACTERE DE TINTA MAGNéTICA, E, APARELHO PARA PROCESSAR DOCUMENTOS CODIFICADOS DE RECONHECIMENTO DE CARACTERE DE TINTA MAGNéTICA" Sistema e método para processamento de exceção de documentos de MICR. Documentos de MICR são lidos e separados a um escaninho de destino para processamento sujeito a uma determinação que uma exceção não impede o roteamento do documento. Em concretizações de exemplo, por exemplo, um erro não impede o roteamento do documento se não estiver relacionado ao campo de roteamento/trânsito. No caso de erros de dígito, um processo de reconhecimento de caractere óptico (OCR) (300,414) é executado na imagem eletrónica armazenada do documento para corrigir erros de dígitos nos dados armazenados lidos dos documentos. Se uma determinação for feita que a correção ou outro processamento de exceção não pode ser operado pelo processo de OCR, a imagem e dados de MICR correspondentes é exibida em um terminal de usuário (528), para verificação ou correção manual por referência a uma imagem do documento, em lugar do próprio documento.
