Abstract

"MATERIAL VEìCULO DE BACTéRIAS". A presente invenção refere-se a um material composto, feito de grãos de material inorgânico não-metálico e de partículas de material plástico. O material Composto é particularmente adequado como um material veículo para bactérias, para uso em instalações de tratamento de esgoto. O material é caracterizado por uma grande superfície, adequada para a colonização de bactérias e, também, por uma densidade que permite ao material composto ser colocado em suspensão no meio presente na instalação de tratamento de esgoto. Uma adicional vantagem do material composto de acordo com a invenção é a propriedade devido a sua estrutura superficial, em que o lodo e concentração saturada de bactérias aderentes, podem cair de sua superfície, permitindo, então, a regeneração do material composto.
