Abstract
"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA SEPARAR COMPONENTES DE UMA LAMA". Método e aparelho para separar componentes de uma lama que compreendem partículas sólidas e componentes líquidos, particularmente onde a lama está sob pressão. Os componentes são separados em um hidrociclone, de tal modo que lama enriquecida em sólidos deixa o separador através de uma saída do retido enquanto uma lama esgotada de sólidos sai do separador através de uma saída do transbordado e passa para o interior de um vaso para produtos. Comunicação fluídica é fornecida entre o vaso para produtos e a saída do retido de modo que gás pode circular através do hidrociclone. Este trajeto de circulação de gás pode ser conseguido encerrando o sistema de separação em uma carcaça, ou fornecendo um conduto de circulação de gás entre o vaso para produtos e a saída do retido do separador ou um vaso opcional para sólidos conectado à saída do retido. Pressão dentro do aparelho separador pode ser ajustada e controlada em uma pressão negativa, neutra ou positiva, ao mesmo tempo que o hidrociclone opera em modo equilibrado para conseguir separação eficiente. Onde a lama é derivada de um reator de alta pressão e/ou de alta temperatura e os componentes sólidos da lama incluem partículas de catalisador que devem ser recuperadas e recicladas para o reator, o aparelho separador é preferivelmente operado substancialmente na mesma pressão que aquela que é encontrada no reator.
