Abstract

"CODIFICAçãO ESCALONáVEL PARA SERVIçO MULTIMìDIA DE MULTICAST/BROADCAST". A presente invenção refere-se a métodos e aparelho para de conteúdo de broadcast. A codificação de conteúdo a ser multicast/broadcast em múltiplos fluxos, onde pelo menos um fluxo fornece uma parte base do conteúdo, e fluxos adicionais fornecem aperfeiçoamentos ao conteúdo. Um dispositivo de comunicação sem fio recebe o broadcast e decodifica os fluxos de acordo com as capacidades de recepção do dispositivo sem fio.
