Abstract
"DETECTOR DE PARTìCULAS". Um aparelho e método são fornecidos para detectar presença em gás de partículas transientes acima de zero normal ou nível aceitável em um duto (4), o dito aparelho compreendendo pelo menos um emissor (2) de iluminação selecionado a partir de radiação infravermelha, ultravioleta e visível capaz de ser projetada sobre essencialmente a seção transversal inteira do duto (4) e pelo menos um detector (8, 18, 25) para detectar qualquer centelha de iluminação a partir da partícula. O aparelho e método são em particular úteis para detectar monitoramento de partículas em áreas onde levantamento ou presença de partículas pode ser desvantajoso, por exemplo, hospitais e estações de geração de eletricidade.
