Os sistemas e técnicas envolvem a sincronização a um sinal possuindo uma pluralidade de bits por computação da energia para uma pluralidade de porções de sinal com diferentes desvios de fase, geração de uma relação da porção de sinal com a energia computada mais elevada para a porção de sinal com a segunda maior energia computada e computação da relação para um limite para determinar se a porção de sinal com a energia computada mais alta pode ser utilizada para determinar a temporização de bits.
