Abstract

"PROCESSO E PRODUTO PARA LAMA DE FOSFOSSILICATO PARA USO EM ODONTOLOGIA E CIMENTOS óSSEOS RELACIONADOS". A presente invenção é dirigida a materiais cerâmicos de fosfato de magnésio e aos seus processos de produção. A composição da invenção é produzida por combinação de uma mistura de um componente em pó substancialmente seco com um componente líquido. O componente em pó substancialmente seco compreende um pó de óxido muito pouco solúvel, um pó de fosfato de metal alcalino, um pó de silicato muito pouco solúvel, com o restante do componente em pó substancialmente seco compreendendo pelo menos um pó selecionado do grupo compreendendo pós bioativos, pós bio-compatíveis, pós fluorescentes, pós de liberação de fluoreto e pós radio opacos. O componente líquido compreende um agente modificador de pH, um fosfato de metal alcalino monovalente em solução aquosa, o restante do componente líquido sendo água. O uso de óxido de magnésio calcinado como o pó de óxido e de hidroxiapatita como o pó bioativo produz um material cerâmica de autocura, que é particularmente adequado para uso em aplicações dentais e ortopédicas.
