"proteção contra a oxidação de peças de material compósito contendo carbono e peças assim protegidas". a peça feita de material compósito contendo carbono e apresentando poros internos residuais abertos é protegida contra oxidação pela realização de pelo menos uma etapa de aplicação de uma composição de impregnação contendo pelo menos um fosfato de metal junto com diboreto de titânio. isto fornece proteção contra oxidação que é efetiva a temperaturas acima de 1000<198>c, incluindo na presença de um catalisador de oxidação de carbono e em condições de umidade.
