Abstract

"MODOS DE TRUQUE REVERSOS EM VìDEO PROGRESSIVO COM UTILIZAçãO DE GRUPOS DE IMAGENS ESPECIAIS". A invenção refere-se a um método (200) e um sistema (100) para codificar um sinal de vídeo. O método inclui as etapas de receber (212) um sinal de vídeo progressivo e codificar (214) o sinal de vídeo progressivo em pelo menos um grupo de imagens que tem pelo menos uma imagem de origem de predição e pelo menos uma imagem de origem de não predição. Todas as imagens de origem de não predição são preditas a partir da imagem de origem de predição, de modo que nenhuma imagem de origem de não predição seja predita a partir de outra imagem de origem de não predição. O método inclui também a etapa de, em resposta a um comando de modo de truque reverso, alterar (218) a ordem de exibição do grupo de imagens de modo a permitir que o grupo de imagens seja exibido em uma ordem inversa. Além disto, o método pode incluir a etapa de modificar (220) pelo menos o número de imagens de origem de não predição do grupo de imagens em resposta ao comando do modo de truque reverso.
