Abstract

"MATERIAL PARA ESFREGAR, ESPONJA PARA ESFREGAR PORTáTIL, E, MéTODO PARA FABRICAR UM MATERIAL PARA ESFREGAR". Um material para esfregar compreende uma folha contínua não tecida tridimensional de fibras entrelaçadas ligadas entre si nos seus pontos de contato mútuos por meio de uma resina de pré-ligação, e uma pluralidade de partículas abrasivas é aderida às fibras da folha contínua ligada por meio de uma resina de revestimento de constituição. A maior parte do peso das fibras compreende fibras naturais, e a folha contínua ligada tem uma massa específica máxima de 50 kg/m¬ 3¬. Um método para fabricar um material para esfregar compreende as etapas de: 1) formar uma folha contínua não tecida tridimensional de fibras naturais em contato com material particulado seco que inclui partículas aglutinantes fundíveis, 2) expor a folha contínua a condições que façam com que as particulas do aglutinante formem um aglutinante líquido escoável, e em seguida solidificar o aglutinante líquido para formar ligações entre as fibras da folha contínua prover assim uma folha contínua pré-ligada, e 3) aplicar partículas abrasivas à folha contínua pré-ligada e ligar as partículas abrasivas às fibras da folha contínua pré-ligada por meio de pelo menos uma resina de revestimento de constituição para fornecer o material para esfregar.
