Abstract

"SISTEMA DE PESQUISA SìSMICA PARA USO EM áGUA E MéTODO/SISTEMA PARA POSICIONAR UM ARRANJO DE FONTES REBOCADO POR UM NAVIO". Um sistema de pesquisa sísmica tendo um arranjo de fontes (11) acoplado a um dispositivo defletor (15) que controla a posição do arranjo de fontes. Uma unidade de sistema de posicionamento (16) é montada no arranjo de fontes para prover um sinal para um controlador, informar o controlador da posição atual do arranjo de fontes tal que o controlador possa controlar a posição do dispositivo defletor (15) e do arranjo de fontes acoplado. Uma fonte sísmica (14) no arranjo de fontes pode ser disparada quando o arranjo de fontes estiver em uma localização desejada como medida pela unidade de sistema de posicionamento. o dispositivo defletor (15) compreende uma ou mais asas (18) em um arranjo geralmente vertical ou, alternativamente, em um geralmente horizontal disposto adjacente a um corpo central (19). O corpo central fuselado tem pontos de conexão que permitem o dispositivo defletor (15) ser conectado a um cabo de reboque (13) a partir do navio rebocador (12) e ao arranjo de fontes (11).
