Abstract

"ESPIROLACTONIZAçãO DE ESTERóIDE". Um esteróide compreendendo uma 17-espirolactona ou estrutura de lactona aberta correspondente é obtido por carbonilação de um substrato de 17-alquenila ou 17-alquinila. Um intermediário de 17-alquenila pode ser preparado por semi-hidrogenação de um grupo 17-alquinila. Múltiplos esquemas de reação são revelados para preparação de um esteróide de 3-ceto-9,11-epóxi-17-espirolactona como eplerenona. Intermediários novos são também revelados, como também etapas para formar tais intermediários novos, ou os convertendo em outros intermediários ou produtos, por semi-hidrogenação, carbonilação, 6,7-desidrogenação, furilação ou outras transformações ou combinações destas.
