Abstract

"MéTODO, EQUIPAMENTO E MEIO LEGìVEL POR COMPUTADOR PARA FORNECIMENTO DE UMA INDICAçãO DE DISPONIBILIDADE DE SERVIçO DE LOCALIZAçãO E QUALIDADE DOS SERVIçOS DE LOCALIZAçãO DISPONìVEIS". Técnicas são descritas para o fornecimento de uma indicação de disponibilidade de serviço de localização e da qualidade dos serviços de localização disponíveis para uma estação móvel. Um parâmetro de LQoS exigido é adquirido. O parâmetro de LQoS exigido pode ser um valor mínimo de precisão de posição, um valor máximo de tempo de resposta ou uma idade máxima do valor de informação de posição. Um valor LQoS real é então determinado. Se o valor LQoS real não satisfizer o parâmetro LQoS exigido, então um indicador é fornecido informando que os serviços de localização não estão disponíveis para a estação móvel. Por exemplo, um indicador visual pode ser exibido indicando que os serviços de localização não estão disponíveis. Por outro lado, se os serviços de localização forem determinados como disponíveis, uma medida de intensidade relativa da precisão de posição é calculada e um indicador visual da intensidade da precisão de posição é fornecido.
