Abstract

"REATOR METALúRGICO PARA A PRODUçãO DE FERRO FUNDIDO". Reator metalúrgico para a produção de ferro fundido, consistindo de uma armação de metal (1) internamente revestida, pelo menos parcialmente, com material refratário (R) e provido, na região do fechamento de topo, com um duto (9) através do qual material ferroso é introduzido, o referido reator sendo equipado com uma primeira série de lanças (13) para injetar o gás comburente, que são adequadamente dirigidas e arranjadas em pelo menos um primeiro nível de fundo situado nas vizinhanças do cadinho (101) para coleta do ferro fundido (2) e através do qual, em associação com um gás comburente, carvão de tamanho de grão adequado é porejado por meios de um gás transportador adequado. O referido duto (9) possui meios de resfriamento adequados (309-509) e é provido, na parte terminal do fundo, com bocais (18) para sopro no gás comprimido. A zona mediana (201) da armação (1) do reator é internamente guarnecida com material refratário, receptáculos para recebimento de placas (11) feitas de metal que é um bom condutor de calor sendo formado no referido revestimento (501), as referidas placas (11) sendo providas em seus lados dirigidos através do exterior do reator com meios de troca de calor para resfriamento dele.
