Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"SISTEMA E MéTODO DE TELEVISãO INTERATIVA PARA CONVERTER INFORMAçõES NãO-TEXTUAIS EM INFORMAçõES TEXTUAIS POR UM SERVIDOR REMOTO"<D>. Um sistema e um método para fornecer uma entrada do usuário para uma aplicação que está sendo executada em um sistema de televisão interativa em que um usuário fornece informações não-textuais para o sistema de televisão interativa e estas informações são convertidas por um servidor em informações textuais as quais são fornecidas para a aplicação. Em uma modalidade, uma placa digitalizadora acoplada a uma caixa de coleta é utilizada para digitalizar a escrita manual do usuário. As informações digitalizadas são direcionadas para um servidor remoto o qual converte os dados de escrita manual digitalizados em informações textuais. As informações textuais são direcionadas para a caixa de coleta, aonde elas são entradas em uma aplicação que está sendo executada na caixa de coleta. Em outra modalidade, um microfone é acoplado a uma caixa de coleta. O microfone permite que o usuário entre com informações de voz as quais são digitalizadas e direcionadas para o servidor para conversão em informações textuais. As informações textuais são direcionadas de volta para a caixa de coleta e são entradas em uma aplicação que está sendo executada na caixa de coleta.
