Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA TRATAMENTO DE SEPSIA"<D>. A presente invenção proporciona um processo de tratamento para pacientes com sepsia. O tratamento reivindicado é uma terapia de combinação com proteína C e proteína BPI. Combinando proteína C com suas propriedades anticoagulante/antiinflamatórias e BPI com atividades neutralizantes bactericidas e endotoxinas, proporciona uma terapia eficaz, sinérgica para sepsia que reduzirá ou melhorará os eventos adversos e melhorará o resultado clínico dos pacientes sépticos.
