"PIRROLIDINONA, TIAZOLIDINONA OU OXAZOLIDINONA SUBSTITUìDOS COMO HERBICIDAS" Um composto da fórmula geral (I) em que Y é O, S, ou CH~ 2~ ; R^ 1^ é um arila opcionalmente substituído ou anel hetero-aromático, em que os substituintes opcionais são selecionados dentre halogênio, alquila C~ 1~ -C~ 4~ , halo alquila C~ 1~ -C~ 4~ , alcóxi C~ 1~ -C~ 4~ ou halo alcóxi C~ 1~ -C~ 4~ ; R~ 2~ e R~ 3~ são independentemente selecionados dentre hidrogênio ou halogênio; e R~ 4~ e R~ 5~ são independentemente selecionados dentre halogênios. Os compostos são úteis como herbecidas.
