Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"ISOLAMENTO DE FIO ELéTRICO"<D>. Um fio ou cabo elétrico dotado de isolamento que compreende (i) pelo menos uma primeira camada de uma formulação baseada em poliolefina, da qual pelo menos 20%, de preferência pelo menos 40%, com maior preferência, pelo menos 60% ou, com muita preferência, pelo menos 80% do peso da parte polimérica da dita formulação consiste em um polímero que contém carbonila (homopolímero ou copolímero ou terpolímero), polímero do qual o ou pelo menos um monómero constituinte é um éster de ácido carboxílico, de preferência, um acrilato ou acetato, especialmente um acrilato de alquila (de preferência, acrilato de metila, acrilato de etila, acrilato de propila ou acrilato de butila), sendo que o monómero em si constitui pelo menos 5%, de preferência pelo menos 9%, com maior preferência pelo menos 15% em peso do dito co-, ou ter-polímero quando usado, e sendo que o restante ou a maioria do restante do dito co-, ou ter-polímero, de preferência, é derivado de monómero olefínico, de preferência, etileno; em contato com (ii) pelo menos uma segunda camada de outra formulação de material, que contém pelo menos 10%, com maior preferência pelo menos 50%, com muita preferência pelo menos 90%, especialmente 100% em peso da segunda camada, de fluoreto de polivinilidina (PVDF), ou especialmente de preferência de um copolímero baseado em VDF com um co-monómero parcial ou totalmente fluorado, com maior preferência, um copolímero de VDF e hexafluoropropileno (HFP); em que as ditas camadas (i) e (ii), enquanto em contato uma com a outra, foram sujeitas à reação de formação de retícula, de preferência, por radiação, com maior preferência, radiação por ionização, suficiente para impedir o desprendimento das duas camadas durante o teste de imersão em acetona descrito abaixo, ou para aumentar a resistência ao descascamento da ligação entre as ditas camadas a pelo menos 5N de acordo com o método da norma ASTM B1876-95 descrito abaixo, de preferência, que aumenta a resistência da ligação em pelo menos 50%, com maior preferência, em pelo menos 100%, especialmente em pelo menos 500% ou 1000%, comparado àquela entre as camadas não reticuladas.Invention Patent: <B> "ELECTRICAL WIRE INSULATION" <D>. An insulating electrical wire or cable comprising (i) at least one first layer of a polyolefin-based formulation, of which at least 20%, preferably at least 40%, more preferably, at least 60% or, with most preferably, at least 80% of the weight of the polymeric part of said formulation consists of a polymer containing carbonyl (homopolymer or copolymer or terpolymer), a polymer of which the or at least one constituent monomer is an ester of carboxylic acid, preferably an acrylate or acetate, especially an alkyl acrylate (preferably methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, propyl acrylate or butyl acrylate), the monomer itself constituting at least 5%, preferably at least 9%, more preferably at least 15% by weight of said co-, or terpolymer when used, and the remainder or most of the remainder of said co-, or terpolymer, preferably being derived from olefin monomer unique, preferably ethylene; in contact with (ii) at least a second layer of another material formulation, which contains at least 10%, more preferably at least 50%, most preferably at least 90%, especially 100% by weight of the second layer, of polyvinylidine fluoride (PVDF), or especially preferably a VDF-based copolymer with a partially or fully fluorinated co-monomer, more preferably a VDF and hexafluoropropylene (HFP) copolymer; wherein said layers (i) and (ii), while in contact with each other, were subjected to the reticulation reaction, preferably by radiation, more preferably by ionization radiation, sufficient to prevent the detachment of the two layers during the acetone immersion test described below, or to increase the peeling resistance of the bond between said layers to at least 5N according to the method of the ASTM B1876-95 standard described below, which preferably increases the strength at least 50%, more preferably at least 100%, especially at least 500% or 1000%, compared to that between the non-crosslinked layers.
