Abstract

"SISTEMA DE FIXAçãO DE OSSOS, PLACA E MEIOS FIXADORES PARA O MESMO", um sistema de fixação de ossos para o tratamento de anomalias ósseas, tais como instabilidade espinhal torácico-lombar e, de acordo com uma configuração preferencial, o referido sistema inclui uma placa anatomicamente com o formato do perfil dos aspectos laterais comuns as vértebras torácicas e lombar, assim como o perfil anterior, o contorno da placa permitindo um tempo rápido de implantação, um perfil menor, e um encaixe que permite uma melhor distribuição biomecânica a qual aumenta as propriedades mecânicas da construção (por exemplo, esforço, tensão e vida útil). Mais ainda, o sistema de fixação inclui uma interface em parafuso e placa a qual proporciona forças de alinhamento entre os parafusos e a placa, provendo resistência ao arrancamento e mesmo distribuindo o esforço em ambos, parafusos e placa.
