Mecanismo e processo para separação por destilação de monómero de estireno de etilbenzeno utilizando uma alimentação de divisão de divisor de fluido (106) a duas colunas de destilação incluindo uma coluna de destilação de alta pressão (110) e coluna de destilação de baixa pressão (130) em conjunção com recozimento em caldeira de recozer (118 e 138) respectivamente, utilizando energia térmica do alto de uma coluna para fornecer calor à outra coluna.
