Abstract

"MéTODO PARA DETERMINAR A RECEPTIVIDADE DE TINTAS SOBRE SUPERFìCIES". Descreve-se um método para determinar a receptividade de tintas sobre superfícies. O método pode ser usado para selecionar de modo previsível e confiável composições (e/ou substratos) apropriadas para revestimento de substratos, ou alternativamente, composições de tintas apropriadas para aplicações em impressão. O método baseia-se na determinação da resposta de uma superfície à tinta ou tintas, em termos da força necessária para imergir e remover uma amostra da superfície, para dentro e para fora de uma tinta. De preferência, a força é expressa em termos de um ângulo de contato da tinta em relação à superfície. Ajustando a composição da composição (e/ou substrato) de revestimento do substrato, ou da tinta, para resultar nas tintas que comportam-se de maneira similar ao substrato revestido ou não revestido, pode-se obter características previsíveis de imagens impressas, com relação a propriedades tais como densidade e definição de imagens.
