Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA A COLAGEM DE PRODUTOS DE PAPEL, PARA A COLAGEM DE PAPEL USANDO UMA EMULSãO DE COLA DE ANIDRIDO SUCCìNICO DE ALQUENILA, E, MISTURA DE EMULSãO DE ANIDRIDO SUCCìNICO DE ALQUENILA" Uma goma natural é usada para prover emulsificação melhorada de agentes de cola de anidrido succínico de alquenila (ASA) para produtos de papel. A goma natural pode ser não iónica, catiónica, aniónica, anfótera, oxidada, derivada ou modificada. A goma natural preferida é da família das gomas galactomanana em que a goma guar é um exemplo principal. A emulsão de cola de anidridos succínicos de alquenila (ASA) formada com a goma natural melhora a estabilidade e a película formada é uniformemente distribuída, dessa forma promovendo colagem mais uniforme do produto de papel. A relação dos ASA para a goma natural na emulsão varia de 0,01:1 a 100:1 e, preferivelmente, de 0,1:1 a 20:1. A quantidade de cola ASA é de 1 libra/tonelada (454 g/tonelada) a 10 libras/tonelada (4536 g/tonelada) de produto de papel acabado e, preferivelmente, de 2 libras/tonelada (907 g/tonelada) a 8 libras/tonelada (3629 g/tonelada). Um tensoativo pode ser usado para melhorar mais a estabilidade da emulsão.
