Abstract

"SISTEMA E APARELHO PARA REVESTIR INTERNAMENTEUMA JUNTA OU OUTRA DESCONTINUIDADE EM UMATUBULAçãO DE GáS VIVO". Juntas ou outras descontinuidadesem tubulações de gás ou gasodutos são vedadas por aspersão dajunta ou descontinuidade com um material de revestimento pormeio de um dispositivo de revestimento resistente a explosão (10),capaz de atravessar grandes extensões de tubo (14). O dispositivode revestimento é inserido no tubo e usa uma câmera resistente aexplosão (44) para localizar juntas ou outras descontinuidades notubo. O material de revestimento preferido é poliuretanoelastomérico tipo epóxi de construção superior (48) que se curarapidamente na presença do gás pressurizado em escoamento.Diversas juntas ou descontinuidades, cobrindo várias centenas demetros de tubo, podem ser revestidas usando uma únicaescavação.
