Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVO E PROCESSO DE ISOLAMENTO TéRMICO DE PELO MENOS UMA CONDUTA SUBMARINA A GRANDE PROFUNDIDADE"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de isolamento térmico de menos uma conduta submarina (1) destinada a assentar sobre o fundo a grande profundidade, compreendendo um revestimento isolante que a envolve e uma cobertura de proteção (3), caracterizado pelo fato de que o referido revestimento isolante compreende um material quase incompressível (4) de mudança de fase líquida-sólida a uma temperatura de fusão T~ 0~ superior à temperatura T~ 2~ do meio que rodeia a conduta (1) em operação e inferior à temperatura T~ 1~ dos efluentes que circulam na conduta, sendo de preferência o referido material (4) impregnado em uma matriz absorvente (2) envolvendo a conduta (1), de preferência o mais próxima possível da sua superfície exterior, sendo a referida cobertura de proteção (3) resistente e deformável e assegurando um confinamento contra e em torno do referido revestimento isolante.
