Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO PARA COBERTURA COM ESCóRIA DE PAREDE DE CONVERSOR"<D>. Realiza-se a cobertura com escória soprando-se um gás de um lance de sopro superior, de modo que a escória seja borrifada uniformemente sobre o tonel e entrada próximos do munhão do conversor; a altura do lance é ajustada para 0,7-3,0 e a velocidade de fluxo do gás é ajustada para 250-600 Nm^ 3^/min, e, após a assopradura do gás, a escória fundida restante é incorporada com um solidificador de escória contendo MgO ou CaO, a seguir a escória fundida é borrifada no sentido da parte desejada da parede do conversor que necessita restauração.
