Abstract

"CONTATOR TOLERANTE à CORRENTE DE DESARME E MéTODO PARA IMPEDIR SOLDAGEM DE CONTATOS SOB CONDIçõES DE DESARME EM UM CONTADOR ELETROMAGNéTICO." Um método e aparelho são descritos para impedir soldagem de contatos 18,20 durante condições de desarme. Este contator tolerante à corrente de desarme inclui dois componentes magnéticos 26,30, um 26 em associação operável com os contatos móveis 20, e o outro 30 fixavelmente ligado acima dos contatos móveis 20 tal que quando uma condição de desarme ocorre, uma alta força magnética é criada para extrair os dois componentes magnéticos 26, 30 juntos deste modo abrindo os contatos 18,20. A força magnética mantém os contatos 18, 20 abertos até que pelo menos corrente zero, e preferivelmente um tempo definido depois disto para prover tempo suficiente para os contatos 18, 20 esfriarem e empedir soldagem com o fechamento dos contatos 18,20.
