"COSTADO DE PNEUMáTICO". Um costado (12) de pneumático (10) possuindo uma superfície (13) com padrões de desenho distintos é descrito. O padrão A possui uma marca formada por uma pluralidade de estrias (20) de formatos de seção transversal similares, cada estria (20) sendo substancialmente paralela a uma estria adjacente (20). O padrão B é superposto sobre uma parte do padrão de desenho A. O padrão B possui uma superfície substancialmente plana formando uma marca menor mas similar delineada pela marca de padrão A. em uma modalidade alternativa, o padrão A é superposta sobre o padrão B, e um padrão C está incluído, o padrão C possuindo em estrias paralelas (40). Os padrões de desenho podem formar uma faixa decorativa ampla circunferencialmente contínua com marcações alfanuméricas delineadas por uma parte da faixa de decoração ampla.
