Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA MANUFATURA DE ARTIGOS DE PAREDE FINA E PARA MOLDAGEM POR INJEçãO DE UM ARTIGO DE PAREDE FINA, E, TUBO DE PAREDE FINA". Um processo para a manufatura de artigos com parede delgada, compreendendo as etapas de: 1) selecionar uma mistura polimérica tendo um ESCR maior do que 10 horas; i) diversas (preferivelmente 6 ou mais) tiras da mistura polimérica incorporando qualquer tratamento pós moldagem destinada a um artigo final tendo as dimensões de seção transversal de 0,65 mm de espessura e 10 mm de largura é moldadas por injeção sob elevado cisalhamento, condições de duração de fluxo longo, similares àquelas destinadas para uso na manufatura do artigo de parede delgada flexível; ii) as tiras são dobradas para trás sobre elas mesmas e grampeadas 3 mm a partir da dobra; iii) as tiras dobradas são imersas em uma solução de um agente de fissuração por tensão e mantidas a uma temperatura de 50°C; iv) as tiras são observadas quanto a sinais de fissuração, quaisquer sinais de fissuração sendo considerados como falha; e v) o tempo para a falha é quando 50% das tiras mostram sinais de fissuração; 2) fundir dita mistura polimérica; 3) socar a mistura de polímero fundida dentro de um molde, dito molde tendo uma cavidade que produz um artigo de parede delgada tendo uma seção delgada menor do que 1 mm de espessura e em que a seção delgada é substancialmente contínua por mais do que 50 mm na direção de fluxo do polímero fundido dentro do molde; e 4) remover do molde o artigo de parede delgada formado da mistura polimérica.
