Abstract

SISTEMA DE DIFUSãO DIGITAL USANDO SATéLITE DIRETO DE DIFUSãO E REPETIDORA TERRESTRE. é provido um sistema de difusão digital que usa um sistema de difusão de rádio direta por satélite tendo opções diferentes de modulação de ligação descendente em combinação com uma rede de repetidoras terrestres empregando opções diferentes de modulação de re-difusão para obter recepção de elevada disponibilidade pelos rádios móveis (14), rádios estáticos e rádios portáteis (14) em áreas urbanas, áreas metropolitanas suburbanas, e áreas rurais, incluindo áreas geograficamente abertas e áreas geográficas caracterizadas por grandes elevações de terreno. Receptores de dois braços e de três braços são providos cada um dos quais compreende uma arquitetura combinadas para receber sinais de satélite e sinais terrestres, e para combinação de probabilidade máxima de sinais recebidos para diversos fins. Uma repetidora terrestre é provida para reformatar um sinal de satélite TDM como um sinal terrestre modulado de multiportadora.
