Abstract

"DECODIFICADOR MULTIMìDIA PARA COMUNICAçãO BIDIRECIONAL PRIORIZADA EM UM SISTEMA DE DIFUSãO". Trata-se de um aparelho decodificador multimidia (10, 20) que suporta uma pluralidade de funções e comunica-se em pelo menos um link de comunicação físico. O decodificador inclui um primeiro processador (75) para decodificar os dados empacotados de acordo com um formato de dados de protocolo Internet para proporcionar uma primeira saída decodificada. O decodificador também inclui um segundo processador (15, 85) para codificar dados de acordo com o formato de dados do protocolo Internet para a comunicação de retorno com uma fonte de difusão. O decodificador prioriza (15,63) os dados recebidos para processamento pelo primeiro processador e prioriza os dados para codificação para a comunicação de retorno pelo segundo processador.
