Abstract

"MISTURAS DE POLIPROPILENOS". A invenção inclui uma composição de mistura compreendendo (a) de 1 a 15 por cento em peso de polipropileno amorfo (b) de 99 a 85 por cento em peso de polipropileno cristalino, onde o peso molecular do polipropileno amorfo é menor que o peso molecular do polipropileno cristalino; o peso molecular (Mw) do polipropileno amorfo é maior que 50.000, preferivelmente 100.000 g/mole; o polipropileno amorfo possui uma MWD menor que 3; e onde as porcentagens são baseadas no polipropileno amorfo mais cristalino total. Preferivelmente, polipropilenos amorfo e cristalino são preferivelmente pelo menos 90 por cento em peso de unidades de propileno. Preferivelmente, o polipropileno amorfo possui uma temperatura de transição vítrea maior que -10°C. A invenção inclui processos para preparar composições da invenção, incluindo um processo de estágios múltiplos. Adicionalmente a invenção inclui artigos, folhas, filmes, espumas e fibras compreendendo ou preparados das composições da invenção, assim como processos para fazer os produtos, preferivelmente processos envolvendo estiramento de uma composição da invenção.
