Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVO DE ACABAMENTO DE FORMATO MISTO"<D>. Um documento de formato misto híbrido que contém partes de documentos (16A-16N) preparadas por diferentes fontes de formato, tal como páginas em preto e branco e coloridas, preparadas imprimindo separadamente as páginas coloridas em uma impressora colorida, e páginas em preto e branco em uma impressora em preto e branco. As duas partes de documento são então colocadas em localizações separadas dentro de um dispositivo de acabamento de formato misto (10). Uma das partes de documento, por exemplo, a parte de documento em preto e branco, inclui uma folha de cobertura (22) que fornece informação codificada (26), que informa o dispositivo de acabamento como unir as duas partes do documento em uma publicação completa (36).
