Abstract

<B>"SURFACTANTE BASEADO EM UM ORTO éSTER, A SUA PREPARAçãO E O SEU USO"<D> A presente invenção se refere a um novo surfactante baseado em um orto éster, onde a parte hidrofóbica e a parte hidrofílica são conectadas por intermédio de ligações orto éster à molécula. O orto éster possui a <B>fórmula (I):<D> onde <B>R<D> é um átomo de hidrogênio ou um grupo alifático com <B>1 - 7<D> átomos de carbono; <B>R~ 1~<D> é um átomo de hidrogênio ou um grupo alquila com <B>1 - 5<D> átomos de carbono; <B>A~ 1~<D> é um grupo alquilenodioxi com <B>2 - 4<D> átomos de carbono, o número de grupos etilenodioxi sendo pelo menos <B>50%<D> do número total de grupos alquilenodioxi; <B>n~ 1~<D> é um número entre <B>1<D> e <B>30<D>; <B>R~ 2~<D> é um grupo alifático com <B>5 - 22<D> átomos de carbono; <B>A~ 2~<D> é um grupo alquilenodioxi com <B>3 - 4<D> átomos de carbono; <B>n~ 2~<D> é um número entre <B>0 - 30<D>; com a condição de que quando <B>R~ 2~<D> é um grupo alifático com <B>5 - 6<D> átomos de carbono, <B>n~ 2~<D> é pelo menos <B>1<D>; <B>R~ 3~<D> é selecionado a partir do grupo consistindo de <B>(A~ 1~)~ n1~R~ 1~<D>, <B>(A~ 2~)~ n2~R~ 2~<D> e um grupo alquila com <B>1 - 6<D> átomos de carbono; onde <B>A~ 1~, n~ 1~, R~ 1~, A~ 2~, n~ 2~<D> e <B>R~ 2~<D> possuem o mesmo significado como mencionado acima; ou um di-condensado ou um poli-condensado por intermédio de quaisquer dos três grupos hidroxi livres do orto éster. Os surfactantes baseados em um orto éster são estáveis em soluções alcalinas, mas são prontamente hidrolisáveis em soluções ácidas para fornecer produtos que não são ativos surfactantes. Eles são adequados para serem utilizados como emulsificadores ou dispersantes.
