Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO DE INIBIçãO DE CORROSãO DE SUPERFìCIES DE METAL TRATADAS COM FUNDENTE"<D>. Esta invenção refere-se a um processo para inibição da corrosão de superfícies de metal tratadas com fundente. O processo compreende a etapa de pór em contato a superfície de metal tratada com um fundente com uma formulação que compreende uma composição inibidora de corrosão que compreende um ou mais ácidos monocarboxílicos ou sais ou isómeros dos mesmos e uma quantidade eficaz de um agente tensoativo inibidor de corrosão tal como um sal de nitrato de metal alcalino ou de metal alcalino terroso solúvel em água. Foi demonstrado que este processo é um meio surpreendentemente eficaz para inibir a corrosão de superfícies de metal tratadas com fundente encontradas nos sistemas de resfriamento de motores de combustão interna.
