Abstract

"LIGA MAGNéTICA MACIA DE Co-Fe-C, DúCTIL, DE ALTA RESISTêNCIA". é divulgada uma liga magneticamente macia, de Co-Fe-C, que contém, em porcentagem em peso, aproximadamente 0,05 a 0,50 de carbono; 0,5 max. de manganês; 0,5 max. de silício; 0, 01 max. de fósforo; 0,01 max. de enxofre; 1,0 max. de cromo; 1,0 max. de níquel; 0,25 max. de molibdênio; 14 a 28 de cobalto; 0,1 max. de vanádio; 0,1 max. de nióbio; 0,1 max. de tungstênio; sendo o resto essencialmente ferro. A liga provê uma força de cedência de até aproximadamente 580 MPa (84 ksi), ao mesmo tempo que mantém a ductilidade e a indução magnética comparáveis às da conhecida liga magnética macia de Co-Fe 27. As propriedades magnéticas e mecânicas são desenvolvidas através de um tratamento térmico por recozimento, que é realizado depois de a liga ter sido mecanicamente trabalhada e usinada para a forma final.
