Abstract

"CONECTOR FêMEA". Um conector fêmea (10) é adaptado para a interligar eletricamente os condutores (14) de um circuito plano flexível (12) aos condutores de um dispositivo de conexão conjugado complementar. O conector (10) inclui um alojamento fêmea (22) possuindo porções de parede (22a, 22b) delimitando uma cavidade (26) para receber o circuito flexível (12). As porções de parede (22a, 22b) são relativamente móveis entre uma condição aberta, permitindo uma estrutura de apoio maleável (38, 38A) ser montada sobre um lado de cavidade de, pelo menos, uma das porções de parede (22a), e uma condição fechada, delimitando a cavidade (26). A estrutura de apoio maleável (38, 38A) polariza resilientemente os condutores (14) do circuito flexível (12) recebido na cavidade contra os condutores do dispositivo de conexão conjugado, quando o conector é conjugado com o dispositivo.
