Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"GRANDEZAS ESPECTRAIS DE QUANTIZAçãO DE SUBESTRUTURAS DUPLAS".<D>A fala é codificada em uma estrutura de bits de 90 milésimos de segundo para transmissão através de um canal de comunicação por satélite. Um sinal de fala é digitalizado em amostras de fala digitalizadas, que são depois divididas em subestruturas. Parâmetros de modelo, que incluem um conjunto de parâmetros de grandezas espectrais, são determinados para cada subestrutura. Duas subestruturas consecutivas da seq³ência de subestruturas são combinadas em um bloco e seus parâmetros de grandezas especiais são quantizados conjuntamente. A quantização conjunta incluia a formação de parâmetros de grandezas espectrais prognosticados dos parâmetros de grandezas espectrais quantizados do bloco anterior computando os parâmetros residuais com a diferença entre os parâmetrosde grandezas espectrais e os parâmetros de grandezass espectrais prognosticados, combinando os parâmetros residuais das duas subestruturas dentro do bloco e usando quantizadores de vetores para quantizar os parâmetros residuais combinados em um conjunto de bits espectrais codificados. Bits de controle de erros redundantes podem ser adicionados aos bits espectrais codificados de cada bloco, para proteger os bits espectrais codificados dentro do bloco contra erros de bits. Os bits de controle de erros redundantes adicionados e bits codificados de dois blocos consecutivos podem ser coombinados em uma estrutura de 90 milésimos de segundo, para transmissão através de um canal de comunicação por satélite.
