Abstract

A presente invenção se refere a um processo, de acordo com o qual, a depuração a úmido de um fluxo de gás é executada em pelo menos três , vantajosamente, seis etapas ou fases sucessivas e a separação de gotículas dos gases depurados é executada em um separador de gotículas uniforme do tipo ciclone, composto de diversos cilindros agrupados. A invenção também se refere a um processo para momentaneamente desviar, durante um aumento de capacidade, uma fase de depuração que provoca perda de pressão. Como resultado, é obtido é um gás limpo e isento de gotículas, que se situa abaixo dos limites do teor de partículas permitido e que pode ser conduzido para a combustão ou descarregado no ar atmosférico. A invenção também se refere a um aparelho, um depurador de múltiplas etapas, para a realização de tal processo. A invenção é particularmente adequada para ser usada na depuração de gases provenientes de altos fornos, de fornos fechados de redução, em que ditos gases de ditos fornos contêm componentes facilmente inflamáveis.
